Drapery

This high relief piece, forged from steel bar and rod stock, is rich with texture and movement. It was inspired by the way drapery hangs, moves, and folds, as well as how it creates a visual barrier for privacy and serves as a metaphor in human lives. By design, this piece hangs a small distance from the wall, creating cast shadows which, in turn, provide another layer of interest.
